At its 32nd Session in July 2016 , the Committee on Fisheries has been nominated for feasibility study on the proposal of the Government of the Republic of Korea to establish the World Fisheries University under the auspices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. As a result, FAO and the Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans of the Republic of Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding in May 2019, a Pilot Program for the FAO World Fisheries University .
One of the objectives of the FAO World Fisheries University Pilot Program to support fisheries, fisheries, aquaculture, fisheries and fisheries . The World Fisheries University will be hosted in Pukyong National University located in Busan, Republic of Korea .
Thirty participants will be selected to participate in the 18-month Pilot Program which will start in March 2020. Expenses of the students will be fully covered. Students who complete the academic program will obtain a Master in Science in Fisheries.

Fish Assemblage of the Epitolu – Kime Channel Section of the Lower Taylor Creek, Niger Delta, Nigeria


Results of a seven-month study on the fish assemblage of the Epitolu-Kime channel section of the Lower Taylor Creek, Niger Delta, Nigeria has just been published.
